Information about the 2026 MN Lacrosse Hall of Fame Annual Awards Ceremony Gala… We have set date for Sunday, Sept 27th 2026. Last year we held th event at the O’Shaughnessy Distillery in Mpls on Sun Nov 2nd with over 100 attendees. We are making some subtle changes and additions to the event this year to accommodate more attendees and inductees. We will be adding male and female HS and College All-Americans to the ceremony and also be inviting the 2009 Men’s National Championship team from U of St. Thomas to be honored. Former inductees will be invited to introduce the new honorees and All-Americans and mingle. We would love the event be a reunion of lacrosse players, family members, teammates, coaches, team admins and referees. The venue will be different and cost per person, less expensive, with a cash bar and formal sit down banquet buffet style. We are looking at Rush Creek Golf Course in Maple Grove, MN as a landing spot.

Pre Event Round of Golf – We hope to offer a round of golf prior to the award ceremony for that that play. Rush Creek is a beautiful public course. More details to follow. It will be listed as an option on the event registration form.

Event Timing – The event should start around 4 pm with check-in and raffle ticket purchases, a cash bar, appetizers, miggling, followed by a silent and live auction to end the fundraising part of the evening. Dinner will start at 5 pm and be immediately followed by the award ceremony and inspiring speeches and stories. We estimate the end time at around 7 pm.

After Event Outdoor Patio & Bar – take the party outside after the event and enjoy the beautiful patio, firepits and bar at Rush Creek

The Great Lacrosse Get Together – The awards ceremony will continue to be a great opportunity for the Minnesota’s Lacrosse community, our past and present inductees, friends and family to all come together to honor and celebrate their achievements. We encourage framily, friend an ex-teammates to consider buying a congratulatory ad in the awards program to show support for your favorite inductee and the charity efforts of the Hall of Fame.

What Do They Receive- Each inductee will receive a commemorative plaque and free admission for two to the ceremony. Each award winner will have their name, photo, video and bio enshrined on the Minnesota Lacrosse Hall of Fame website under the year they were inducted.

Dress Code – All Business…
Men – Suit & tie.
Women – Semi formal.

Cost Per Person – The cost per person is going to be in the $75-$85 pp range
We anticipate 150-200 to attend.

Registration Deadline – Sun Sept 6 at 5pm. Day of will not be attempted.

Awards Ceremony Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities:
In addition to attendee admission fees, we are looking to raise about $4,500 total to pay for the venue, 20 plus inductees and their guest to attend (food) and the award plaques. Any proceeds we raise over that amount needed to cover the ceremony will go towards our Grow the Game Youth Lacrosse Grants and initiatives. We encourage sponsorship and donations from lacrosse owned businesses and lacrosse community members. Awards Ceremony Title Sponsor $1,000 The Title sponsors logo is included in all the Hall of Fame ceremony signage, plus on the cover of the award ceremony program, plus a full page ad in the program, and two complimentary guest tickets to the ceremony. The title sponsors will also have their logo prominently placed as a title sponsor on the HOF website and included in any social media, inductee acceptance videos, emails or printed material associated with the ceremony. NOTE: Sponsor Logo & Ad copy is due 2 week prior to ceremony date.

Awards Ceremony Supporting Sponsor $500 The Supporting sponsors logo is included in all the Hall of Fame ceremony signage, plus a full page ad in the banquet program, and includes two complimentary guest tickets to the ceremony. Supporting sponsors will also receive logo recognition on the HOF website and in any social media, emails or printed material associated with the ceremony. NOTE: Sponsor Logo & Ad copy is due 2 weeks prior to ceremony date.

Table Sponsor $300 (Great Deal) Table sponsors receive a full page (4” x 7”) congratulatory ad in the banquet program and on the website along with logo recognition on social media and email related to the awards ceremony. NOTE: Ad copy is due 2 weeks prior to banquet date.

Award Ceremony Program Advertising Full Page Ad $100/ ½ Page Ad $60 We will be asking businesses to support us with ads and inductees families and the lacrosse organizations they are associated with to take out congratulatory ads in the banquet program.NOTE: Ad copy is due 2 week prior to banquet date.

Awards Sponsor $500 We need a business or individual to sponsor the cost of all four awards (15-20 plaques).

8-10 Hall of Fame Awards (for player, coaches, etc)
2 Unsung Hero Awards ( male & female)

The sponsors name or company’s name will be displayed as a “sponsored by” on each plaque and the sponsor will receive a free 1/2 page ad in the printed program.NOTE: Sponsor Logo & Ad copy is due 1 week prior to banquet date.
